What Beyoncé's voice is like
Classic FM puts Beyoncé's range at A2 to E6, a little over three and a half octaves. Rolling Stone says that range has carried her through funk, country and hard rock, sometimes on the same album. It also rates her as good a rapper as she is a singer, which shows in how rhythmic her phrasing is. Her singing nods to heroes like Prince, Tina Turner and Michael Jackson, according to Rolling Stone.
